Academy gave this board a Press Flex Core to provide pop like a traditional camber without all the catchiness, and Carbon VXR Laminate Technology for quick response and increased torsional control. The Sintered base bumps up the speed and durability while the FDS System, Elastomeric Stabilizers and Harmonic Damper in the tip and tail absorb vibrations for better stability at speeds and an overall smoother ride.
