WABANA Fishing Tackle is a small business located in Northern Minnesota that is dedicated to bringing the highest quality Lead-Free products to fishermen of all sorts.
WABANA Fishing Tackle was officially established in 2009 by myself, Paul Nelson. I am a third generation decoy carver, spear fisherman, and avid angler.
The first year I speared was the year that I carved my first decoy. This was 20 years ago. A lot has changed since the beginning, but not my pursuit to always build a better fishing decoy.
Every decoy made and sold is considered a “worker” decoy. If a decoy doesn’t swim well and have the ability to attract fish it is just a wood carving. Even the most detailed decoys I’ve made are weighted and perfected to swim effortlessly and with a fluid motion.
The bottom of this particular “Fire Tiger” Green Pike decoy is painted a bright red/orange.
